Terms and conditions

How to Order 

Simply place your order online, email anytime or call us on 0438 828 260 between the hours of 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday (ACST).

Payment Methods

  • Payments can be made by direct deposit, cheque, credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Japanese Credit Bureau) or via PayPal and Afterpay. 

  • Direct deposit details: Gossip Box    NAB - BSB 085-005     Account No: 77-851-4387

  • Note: You do not have to have a PayPal account to make payments by credit card.

    Gossip Box does NOT charge for any VISA or Mastercard transactions but we do charge 2% for all AMEX or JCB transactions.

  • Call our office should you wish to pay directly by credit card otherwise payments with credit cards can be made securely via PayPal.  

  • Afterpay is not available for corporate orders

  • We must receive payment in full before orders are dispatched. Please note payment is not regarded as having been received until our bank has confirmed receipt of cleared funds to our account.

  • Corporate orders over $1,000 AU will require a 50% deposit when ordered and we require full payment prior to delivery.

 Providing your Contact Details 

  • A contact phone number for the recipient(s) is essential - please ensure you provide these details as it will aid in the prompt delivery of your gift.

  • We also require a valid phone number and/or email address on your order to assist in contacting you immediately, should one of our office staff have any questions or concerns regarding your order.

 Corporate Orders 

  • We are able to arrange orders for corporate clients/events all throughout the year.

  • Branding your gift with corporate colours, logos, etc may be a possibility, contact us to discuss options available.

  • Interstate and overseas orders are welcome - please confirm actual numbers and delivery location(s) to ensure correct costs are applied to any quotes given.

 Interstate Deliveries

  • Parcels delivered outside of South Australia are calculated by our website once you have entered the destination details. You will have the option to obtain an estimate postage cost before completing your order. After you have selected your choice of gift to the shopping cart, simply 'view' your cart then click on the 'estimate shipping' button for the calculation.

  • Please allow 1-7 days for interstate / country, 5-10 days for more remote locations (eg. Northern Territory, Western Australia and Far North Queensland).

  • All our parcels sent via Australia Post are registered, a flat fee of $5.00 AU is automatically calculated on top of your postage cost to cover this charge. 

Overseas Deliveries (see note below)

  • Overseas orders are welcome – conditions and fees apply.

  • For any overseas deliveries, as our system DOES NOT automatically calculate the delivery costs, we will advise you of the charges BEFORE processing your order to ensure you are aware of the full costs and to discuss the options available to you.

  • All parcels sent via Australia Post will be registered and will be included as part of our quote. Please advise should you prefer not to accept this cover.

  • Please be mindful of the location of where your gift is being sent as we will not be held responsible for any damages due to weather conditions (eg chocolates to a hot climate).

    Should you choose to order gifts from the INTERNATIONAL GIFTS tab these will calculate delivery charges but we must point out that the contents included are NOT EXCLUSIVELY SOUTH AUSTRALIAN.

Registered Post International

  • Signature on delivery is required for items up to 2kg and valued up to $500 AU. Please allow UP TO 3 weeks for registered parcels to arrive at their destination. Should you wish to have these delivered within 4-5 working days, we can arrange express post for you but an additional charge will apply to this service.

    Call 0438 828 260 or email for any orders over 2kg or valued more than $500 AU to discuss what additional charges, coverage and delivery options are available to you. 

    Please be mindful of the location of where your gift is being sent as we will not be held responsible for any damages due to weather conditions (eg chocolates to a hot climate).

    • Includes coverage of up to $100 AU for loss or damage for articles posted.

Weights and Dimensions

  • Please note all size, weight and dimensions provided are approximates to give you a general idea of gift sizes and weights to assist you with freight calculations.

 Christmas Orders 

  • Should you wish to arrange bulk orders for Christmas, we will be accepting Christmas orders from 30th July, until the 7th December. (Please note this cut off time is only for orders greater than 20 individual gifts).

  • All Corporate orders require a 50% deposit for any order over $1,000 AU when the order is placed and we require full payment prior to delivery

  • Interstate and overseas orders are welcome - please confirm actual numbers and delivery location(s) to ensure correct costs are applied to any quotes given. Conditions and fees apply. 

    Please read above section on overseas deliveries for charges, coverage and time frames of gift deliveries.

  • With Christmas orders for country & interstate areas, please place orders at least 10 working days before you would like gift to be delivered. Conditions and delivery fees apply. 

Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays 

  • ALL orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays will be processed on the following business day morning.

  • Saturday deliveries may be arranged within a 20km radius from Adelaide CBD for a fee of $25.00 AU plus the standard delivery charge. Please call our office 0438 828 260 to discuss final costings and availability of drivers to deliver.

Note: We CAN NOT arrange deliveries on Saturday to any outer* SA metropolitan, country, interstate or overseas orders.
* Outer includes any orders outside a 20km radius from Adelaide CBD. 

Hot Weather Policy 

  • In the event of hot weather we may choose to replace some products (ie chocolates and other perishable items) with more suitable items to ensure your gift arrives in the condition we would expect (as would you) - unmelted. 

  • Please be mindful of the location of where your gift is being sent as we will not be held responsible for any damages due to hot weather conditions.


Please note that gifts containing alcohol can only be sold and delivered to persons over 18 years of age. 

Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence:

  • to supply alcohol to any person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $6,000)

  • for any person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (Penalty exceeds $500). Liquor Licence No: 36102224

Newsletter Promotions / Giveaways / Competitions / Forward to a Friend

  • Whenever our competition mentions there will be more than 1 winner, each winner must be from different work places (unless the same work place has an office in another suburb or state of Australia). You are able to increase your chances of winning by getting as many people from your work place to enter as part of our Forward to a Friend promotions.

  • Competitions are open to any Australian residents but FREE delivery only applies to South Australian deliveries within the Adelaide Metropolitan areas. 
    Gossip Box will arrange the first delivery(ies) free of charge within the Adelaide Metro areas but should your gift need to be redelivered for any reason, delivered to an outer metropolitan or country area or to an interstate address this charge will be at your cost. Goods will not be dispatched until the delivery cost has been made.

  • You must be a current subscriber to our newsletters to be in the draw.

  • Not available with any other promotion, competition, giveaway or offer.

Competition closure dates will be as specified in the monthly newsletters as some competitions may run over and up to 4 months. The winner's details will be announced in the following month's edition AFTER the competition has ended and on our Facebook page. It will be the responsibility of the winner to contact our office to advise the delivery details within 7 business days of the competition closing. 

Discounts offered during these promotions are limited to one discount per person per order and only available to our new Gossip Box Members.


From time to time our promotions have discounted or special offers in place where a set code must be entered at the check out stage to validate the discount / special offer. In most cases there will be a minimum spend requirement before the discount will be applied and the discounts will only apply to our gift box range unless mentioned otherwise. These discounts are limited to one discount per person per order and only available to our new Gossip Box members unless otherwise noted.

Refunds / Cancellations / Replacements / Deposits

Gossip Box will not accept return of goods without prior approval. Refunds are only applicable if there is proof that the products were damaged or faulty at time of delivery.

Please be mindful of the location of where your gift is being sent as we will not be held responsible nor refund/replace for any damages due to hot weather conditions, if you have insisted certain products be included in your gift (ie chocolates and other perishable items). Should your choice of gift contain a number of chocolate or perishable items, we may call you to discuss alternative options.

  • Should your parcel be damaged upon receipt, please notify us immediately to discuss potential replacement options. Any parcels damaged which have not been reported to Gossip Box within 24 hours from when the parcel had been signed for (including if a representative of your company or accepted by a third party on your behalf) via phone or email may not be replaced at our cost.

  • Cancellations or alterations to orders must be made at least 48 hours prior to dispatch. We are unable to accept a cancellation after the order has been sent or put together by our office. Please call 0438 828 260 immediately to advise us should you wish to cancel your order.

  • We reserve the right to substitute an item that is out of stock or unavailable, and we guarantee that the product chosen will be to equal or greater value. (NOTE: some images on our website differ to the actual products provided due to supplier availability and our suppliers updating their packaging. Your order will contain the description of the items listed on our website and shall only be replaced if we are unable to source the product, if it is out of stock or upon your request).

  • We request a 50% deposit on all Corporate and orders over $1,000 AU and are unable to refund this if the order is cancelled. We are happy to reallocate the deposit amount to purchase any future orders until the balance is depleted.

  • Should a listed product be unavailable we will ensure that the replacement item will be of equal or greater value.

  GST / Currency

  • Gossip Box is not registered for GST hence does not charge GST for any purchases. All prices are quoted in Australia Dollars
